He will be an invaluable addition to the club and with his knowledge, drive and enthusiasm will enable the Junior & Youth section to progress in the right direction.
Please join us in giving Mark a warm welcome to the club and please read the message from him below:
My Journey in youth football started off at Albert Village when there was approx. 20 children at a soccer school on the park, I went down with my son Harrison to see what it was all about. From that day I was hooked. That week I had signed up to be a coach, within 3 months I was head coach of the Soccer school and 9 months into my journey I was put forward to be Chairman.
Since that day we have grown into a club with over 300 children, moved our base to Jungle Madness in Donisthorpe and increased all the training and equipment for all the teams. The club currently sits as one of the most well known in the Area for Junior football and has a fantastic group of coaches that are pushing it forward.
I am excited to be joining Ashby Ivanhoe and see it as a huge opportunity to help the youth football at the club push on and increase. I regularly attend the Ashby First teams games and some of you may already know me from there and from outside of football.
I look forward to meeting all of you and developing the clubs exciting vision of the club’s Junior and Youth team future.
